For many campers, a week at summer camp becomes one of the most memorable experiences of the year. Days are full of adventure, friendships, laughter, and meaningful moments of faith. While every camp session has its own unique activities, most days follow a rhythm that balances fun, rest, and spiritual growth.

Here’s what a typical day at camp looks like:

Start the Day Together

Campers begin the morning with a good breakfast shared with their cabin or small group. Meals are an important part of camp life — they’re a time to wake up, connect with friends, and get ready for the day ahead.

After breakfast, campers usually gather for morning devotions or Bible study, where they explore Scripture and learn more about God in a way that connects to their daily lives.

Adventure and Activities

The middle of the day is packed with activities designed to help campers try new things, work together, and enjoy the outdoors.

Campers participate in both large group activities and small group activities, which might include:

  • Swimming

  • Canoeing

  • Crafts

  • Field games

  • Octaball

  • Nine-square

  • Nature activities

  • Team challenges

These activities give campers a chance to build confidence, develop new skills, and create friendships that often last long after camp ends.

Meals and Time to Recharge

Camp days include three meals and two snacks, helping campers stay energized for all the activities. Meals are shared together and often become some of the most fun moments of the day.

There’s also rest time built into the schedule so campers can recharge, write letters home, or simply relax before the afternoon activities begin.

Faith at the Center

Faith is woven naturally throughout the day. Campers participate in worship, Bible study, and devotions, creating space to learn more about God and reflect on what they’re experiencing during the week.

These moments often become some of the most meaningful parts of the camp experience.

Evening Campfire

As the day winds down, campers gather together for one of the most beloved camp traditions: the nightly campfire.

With songs, stories, reflection, and the glow of the fire under the night sky, campfires create a special time to slow down, laugh together, and reflect on the day.

A Week Campers Never Forget

Every day at camp is designed to help campers grow — in confidence, in friendships, and in their faith. By the end of the week, campers return home with new skills, new memories, and often a deeper understanding of God’s love.

For many campers, the best part is simple: they can’t wait to come back next summer.
